Muscovite Tower carved in China with the source material coming from Brazil.
Most know of muscovite, a variety of Mica, mainly as small or large sheets or book of sheets of the mineral. In Brazil they can occur in very large sizes. The size means that they can be cut into various shapes. When cut parallel to the sheet growth Muscovite is mainly opaque, but when cut perpendicular you can get gemmy sections that allow light to pass through and you get a lovely glassy appearance with "feathers" of various golden colors. This marvelous tower is a must have for any Mica collector.
Measures approximately 8cm x 2.4cm x 1.9cm.
Muscovite is used to relieve headaches, vertigo and sleep disorder. It helps promote mental clarity and reduce stress.
