Aura Satin Spar is a stone treated with one or more metals to add or enhance the color of the original stone. the treatment is only surface deep. 

Satin Spar often sold as Selenite is a unique variety of Gypsum. The crystals grow as needles, which give the amazing stone a cats' eye effect when cut and polished parallel to the crystal growth, When cut and polished perpendicular to growth the crystal become fiber optic and allow images below appear to be on top of the specimen (tv rock). It is sometimes confused for ulexite which is considered the classic TV Rock.

There are several of the carvings available. You will receive on that looks like those pictured. Average size 8.2 cm x 2.4 cm.
